Introduction
A Short Video Showing the Basic Features of the HydroRam
NOSE CONE
The first component of the Hydroram is the Nose Cone. The Nose cone is designed as a simi sphere with inlet holes sized to deflect any particles or matter to large to pass through the Turbine. This not only keeps the Turbine from being Jammed but protects sea life from being pulverized.
MAIN BODY
The main Body or Chamber of the Hydroram is designed like a wind sock which has two functions. The first is so that it will "Windsock" into the current maximizing the water flow through the chamber and the second is to force the water through a smaller area to increse the power of the flow. As water is a hydraulic medium (it can't be compressed like air) the constriction causes the turbine to turn at maximum speed even in a relatively weak current.
Turbine Chamber
The Turbine Chamber not only houses the Turbine but has fins to further help with the wind sock effect to steer the Nose Cone into the available current and maximize the water flow though the main body.

Automatic Transmission
Utilizing a computerized automatic transmission in
the drive chain maximizes the Generator RPMs and in turn the power output even in weak currents.

Originally designed for applications such as wind turbines the Infinity Generator is an advanced Generator design that is incredibly more efficient than conventional generators. The Infinity Generator can be "daisy chained " in groups of as many as twelve units in one HydroRam
